WHY THIS MATTERS

Genomic data is growing.
Processing infrastructure hasn't kept up.

The cost of sequencing a human genome has dropped by a factor of a million in twenty years. The hardware to run it has never been cheaper. But the software layer — the systems that absorb raw sequence data and turn it into a usable result — is still running on decade-old CPU architecture.

The result: labs, research organizations, and clinical operators are sitting on massive genomic datasets they can't process at the speed their work demands.

Speed Is the Bottleneck

A single genomic sample running on traditional CPU infrastructure takes 8 hours to process. At scale, that's 64 hours for 8 samples. Research timelines, clinical decisions, and contract SLAs all suffer.

Infrastructure Is Fragmented

Most genomic operators run across a patchwork of cloud environments — Azure, AWS, Google Cloud — with no unified processing layer. Every migration is a custom project. Every new assay type requires rebuilding the pipeline.

Security Can't Be an Afterthought

Genomic data is among the most sensitive information in existence. Running analytical workloads through external cloud LLMs or shared AI environments exposes proprietary sequence data to unnecessary risk. Most platforms aren't built with containment in mind.

THE DAYHOFF PLATFORM

CPU to GPU. Hours to Minutes. Raw Data to Intelligence.

The Dayhoff platform is a proprietary processing engine built specifically for high-volume genomic and microbiome workloads. It sits between raw biological data and the organizations that need answers from it — absorbing sequence files, running automated analysis pipelines, and returning structured, reportable results at a fraction of the time any CPU-based system can match.

The platform is cloud-agnostic. It runs on Dayhoff's own secure infrastructure today and can be customized to deploy on partner hardware — including GPU clusters from AMD and Rackspace infrastructure — with a tailored stack for each deployment.

How It Works

Step 1 — Data In

Ingest from any lab source

Raw genomic or microbiome sequence files are ingested from any lab source. FASTQ, FASTA, or BAM formats accepted. No preprocessing required by the operator.

Step 2 — Dayhoff Engine

Automated analysis pipeline

The proprietary pipeline absorbs the data, runs quality checks, aligns sequences, applies analysis models, and generates a structured result set — automatically and without human intervention.

Step 3 — Intelligence Out

Structured reports delivered

Structured reports delivered to the operator's dashboard, API endpoint, or partner system. Results are ready for clinical review, research use, or population-level aggregation.

Commercial Model

Dayhoff Technologies sells platform access to enterprise operators through an annual license plus a per-sample processing fee. No infrastructure build-out required on the customer side.

What You Get What It Covers
Annual Platform License Access to full Dayhoff processing pipeline
Per-Sample Processing Fee Priced per genomic or microbiome assay type
Dedicated Implementation Support Technical onboarding and integration
Custom GPU Stack Configuration For GPU-cluster partners and research labs
THE PRODUCT SUITE

One platform. Three ways to put it to work.

Dayhoff Health

Employer-Sponsored Population Health Intelligence

Dayhoff Health is a clinical microbiome and genomic screening program built for self-insured employers, stop-loss carriers, and hospital systems. It puts population-level risk intelligence in the hands of benefits teams and HR leaders who have historically had to make health benefit decisions without reliable data. Employees receive individual results. Employers receive de-identified, aggregate risk profiles they can actually act on. All screening is CLIA-certified, HIPAA-compliant, and SOC 2 audited. Individual data is never shared with the employer — by design.

Dayhoff Vault

Secure Genomic Cloud Storage

Dayhoff Vault is a secure, contained cloud storage environment built for organizations that generate or receive genomic data at scale. Unlike general-purpose cloud storage, Vault is purpose-built for biological data — with access controls, audit logging, and a chain-of-custody framework that meets the compliance requirements of clinical and research environments. Data stored in Vault can be fed directly into the Dayhoff processing pipeline without external transfer, keeping your most sensitive sequences inside a closed environment at every step.

Dayhoff Platform

GPU-Accelerated Genomic Processing for Enterprise

The Dayhoff Platform is available as a licensed technology solution for organizations that want to accelerate their existing genomic processing operations. CROs, research institutions, and labs currently running on CPU-based cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) can migrate their workloads to GPU-accelerated processing using Dayhoff's proprietary software stack. The stack is agnostic to underlying hardware — configurable for AMD GPUs, NVIDIA clusters, or partner-specific deployments. One integration. Dramatically faster results.

HOW DAYHOFF AI WORKS

AI that never leaves the room.

Every AI model that powers the Dayhoff platform runs inside Dayhoff's own secure environment. There is no connection to external cloud-based large language models. No sequence data, no patient-derived information, and no proprietary biological data ever leaves the Dayhoff processing environment to be analyzed by a third-party AI service.

This is a deliberate architectural choice. Genomic data is irreversible. Once exposed, it cannot be un-exposed. Dayhoff's contained AI infrastructure means every analysis — from variant detection to population-level risk modeling — runs on models that Dayhoff owns, trains, and maintains within its own secure perimeter.

What Contained AI Means in Practice

WHO USES THE DAYHOFF PLATFORM

Genomic processing at scale, across the organizations that need it most.

Contract Research Organizations (CROs)

CROs running clinical trials with genomic endpoints are generating sequence data at a rate their CPU infrastructure was never designed to handle. Dayhoff's platform integrates with existing lab outputs and accelerates analysis pipelines without requiring infrastructure rebuilds. Results that previously took three days per batch are available same-day.

Process 10 samples in the time your current system processes 1.

Health Systems and Hospital Networks

Hospital systems moving toward precision medicine need genomic processing that runs at clinical speed. Dayhoff's contained AI architecture ensures patient-derived sequence data never leaves the secure processing environment, satisfying compliance requirements while delivering results fast enough for treatment decisions.

HIPAA-compliant genomic processing with full audit logging, start to finish.

Self-Insured Employers

Through Dayhoff Health, employers with 500+ covered lives gain population-level microbiome and genomic risk intelligence that claims data alone cannot provide. De-identified workforce health profiles give benefits teams a data foundation for preventive program design, stop-loss negotiation, and benefits ROI reporting.

Modifiable risk markers identified across a workforce in under 8 weeks.
